Accessibility Statement

Our Commitment

Dr. V Telehealth is committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to all visitors, including individuals with disabilities. We believe that everyone deserves equal access to health information and the ability to connect with Dr. Vuslat Muslu Erdem's practice.

We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at the AA level, as well as applicable requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Accessibility Standards

We work to meet the following accessibility principles:

Perceivable

Content is presented in ways that users can perceive, including text alternatives for images, sufficient color contrast, and resizable text that does not lose functionality when enlarged.

Operable

All website functionality is available via keyboard navigation. Interactive elements are clearly identifiable, and users have adequate time to read and interact with content.

Understandable

Content is written in clear, plain language. The website operates in a predictable manner, and navigation is consistent across all pages. Error messages provide helpful guidance.

Robust

The website is built with semantic HTML and is compatible with current and future assistive technologies, including screen readers, magnifiers, and voice recognition software.

Accessibility Features

This website includes the following accessibility features:

  • Semantic HTML structure with proper heading hierarchy
  • Descriptive alt text for meaningful images
  • Sufficient color contrast ratios for text and interactive elements
  • Keyboard-navigable menus, links, and forms
  • ARIA labels and landmarks where appropriate
  • Responsive design that adapts to various screen sizes and zoom levels
  • Clear, readable typography with appropriate line spacing
  • Focus indicators for interactive elements
  • Skip-to-content functionality for keyboard users

Ongoing Improvements

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We regularly review our website and update content to improve usability for all visitors. As new content is published and the website evolves, we continue to test and enhance accessibility. We recognize that there may be areas where improvements can be made, and we are committed to addressing them.

Compatibility with Assistive Technology

This website is designed to be compatible with commonly used assistive technologies, including but not limited to screen readers (such as JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver), screen magnification software, and speech recognition programs. We test across major browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.

Known Limitations

Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. Known limitations include:

  • Some older blog posts may have images without descriptive alt text; we are working to update these as we identify them
  • Third-party embedded content (such as maps or external forms) may have accessibility limitations beyond our control
  • PDF documents, if any, may not be fully screen reader accessible

We are actively working to resolve these issues and welcome your feedback.

Report an Accessibility Issue

We value your feedback and want to ensure this website works well for everyone. If you encounter any accessibility barriers or have suggestions for improvement, please contact us. We will make reasonable efforts to address your concern promptly.
